GREATEST VICTORY.

Judges 7:8-15 tells the story of Gideon. He was told to reduce the number of the men in his army until it was impossible for them to boast that they had won the victory against Midian. When Gideon had only 300 men left, God said He would give the Midianites into his hands! The remaining men took over the provisions and TRUMPETS of those who had gone home.
During the night God told Gideon to get up and GO down to the massive Midian camp. The Bible tells us their enemy covered the whole valley like locusts. Once again God told Gideon, “I am about to give it into your hands. If you are afraid - GO down and listen to what they are saying.” Gideon did just as God told him and as he arrived, he could overhear two men talking about a dream. They shared the interpretation of the dream that God had given the whole camp into Gideon’s hands.
Immediately the fearful Gideon fell to his knees in WORSHIP. As he arose, he was no longer fearful but confident in the VICTORY God was about to give them. He called the people to “Get UP, sound the trumpets and to seize the VICTORY!”
GOD IS ALWAYS LOOKING TO GIVE US VICTORY!

When we understand that God is WITH US AND FOR US, we can take hold of that same VICTORY. The VICTORY that Jesus died to give us.
Recently four of our team visited Alnwick and particularly the Castle which has a particular breed of lion! We were told it was the lionheart. It reminded me of Belgium and in particular the site of the battle of Waterloo where there is a huge lion on top of a mound. There didn’t appear to be any connection, but the Lord was prompting me to check.
Our team had visited the battlefield of Waterloo several times when we travelled to Brussels. When we visited the second time, the Lord told us that in 1815 Wellington and his men had turned the battle for Europe; because of that there was still an anointing in the ground to turn the battle spiritually. As Wellington WON the VICTORY, one man was chosen to take the message of VICTORY back from Waterloo to London. His name was Major Henry Percy, the Earl of Northumberland, and keeper of the amazing Alnwick Castle! When Major Henry Percy declared VICTORY in London, it meant the men who had survived the battle were coming home! The sound of VICTORY changes atmospheres!!

As we looked at this, God spoke prophetically and said, “It is time for us to take hold of and release the sound of VICTORY!” AFTER ALL WE HAVE THE GREATEST VICTORY MESSAGE.
Jesus was, is and always will be, our VICTORIOUS conquering King. Because of Jesus VICTORY we can CHOOSE to walk in VICTORY too.
The VICTORY is not ours; it was, is and always will be a free gift from Jesus, who paid a massive price for each one of us. As Jesus died on the cross, he declared, “It is finished!” That means that I don’t need to live as an orphan or a victim of life’s circumstances, but I can cast that off and choose to live in Jesus VICTORY, in the finished work of the cross.
1 John 5:4 “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the VICTORY that has overcome the world, even our faith.”
When we choose to give our lives to Jesus, we should step out of our old way of life. We can choose to abandon all the false identities like Gideon who was fearful. Instead of fear we can receive a vision of VICTORY and begin to see ourselves the way Jesus see us. For when we are born again, we are born into a whole new kingdom, led, and empowered by the Spirit of God. This is the VICTORIOUS kingdom that Jesus constantly spoke about and released everywhere He went.
However, sadly, so often we just start going to church. We learn about Jesus without ever truly encountering Him or having a relationship with Him. It is only as we spend time with Jesus, we discover and understand our identity as children of God and then we can be empowered to walk in the VICTORY of the cross.
Many of us walked powerfully with Jesus for many years, but sadly we have allowed life, circumstances, and experience to squeeze us into a box of conformity. We know there is more, but we have lost our way…
Recently we visited the Edinburgh Tattoo. It was crowded with people, so my husband Steve and I held hands tightly, as we moved through the crowds going into the grounds of the Castle. We didn’t want to lose each other…
However, for many of us it’s just like we have lost Jesus’ hand, as we have wandered away…we have lost our intimacy with Jesus. We have not only lost sight of the VICTORY of the cross, but because of that we find ourselves no longer living in the POWER of the VICTORY of the cross either.
God is looking for those who will be a part of the arrowhead to bring VICTORY for the rest of the body of Christ. He is looking for those who are willing to spend time in His presence and to be sharpened.
Today God is looking for those who will take possession of the VICTORY of the cross once more. As we do that, we can experience VICTORY over all of our circumstances. VICTORY changes our mindsets – Jesus endured the cross, but He was not a victim, He could see ahead to the VICTORY over every principality and power. For some of us today God wants you to see VICTORY, even when your circumstances don’t change! You will be a sign and wonder to those around you of the power of God’s grace to walk through difficulties.
For some today God wants to change our victim or poverty mindsets so that we begin to see things through the mind of Christ. God wants to lift us, so we dwell in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and we can declare VICTORY from heaven into earthly situations.

There are miracles to be released and miracles for you to receive.
There are breakthroughs to be released and breakthroughs for you to receive.
There are finances to be released and finances for you to receive.
There is repentance to be made and forgiveness to be received.
There is forgiveness to be released and there are relationships to be restored.
Let us release the sound of Victory as we embrace Jesus and the cross afresh. Choose this day to walk in victory.
