Welcome to Community Watchmen Ministries (CWM for short!).  We started in Liverpool in 2002, however we soon grew and now we are an international Christian ministry and charity.  To understand who we are and what we do, it is good to look at what the Bible says about Watchmen (and gatekeepers).

Isaiah 52:8 "Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes."

John 10:3 " The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out."

 

We have been taught first hand how to watch strategically over the land and the people who live there, to bless it and to stop as much as we are able, any advancement of evil.  As God has directed us we have seen incredible things happen including the transformation of communities and our city of Liverpool, as we have prayed and obeyed God's directions.  You can read some of the amazing stories in Sue's books which have recorded many of our adventures. 

 

We have learned that walking with Jesus is a constant adventure and He is ready to do immeasurably more than we could dream or imagine.  Holy Spirit is just waiting for us to put our hand in His hand and allow Him to escort us out of our comfort zone into the realm of the miraculous.  Now we offer practical training in prayer and the prophetic to empower believers to grow in their faith and relationship with God too. We teach from the Bible sharing some of our first hand experiences and the fruit of our obedience even when our knees have been shaking!

 

In practice our team meet twice a week to pray and then our main gathering is at The Big PUSH where we come together to worship and seek God's presence.  We believe in the importance of sharing Jesus love and helping others to enjoy a personal relationship with Him and grow in their spiritual journey.
