MERSEY REGION PRAYER CABINET
Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
HOW DID THIS START?

“This is what the Lord says, “Stand at the crossroads and look: ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” But you said, “We will not walk in it.” I appointed watchmen over you and said, “Listen to the sound of the trumpet!” But you said, “We will not listen.”” Jeremiah 6:16-17.

This is where our journey began, when the Lord gave us this scripture twice early on the 7th October, prior to the Israel attack. We sensed God was not only speaking to Israel but speaking to us all. For the Middle East and beyond, what happened on 7th October was cataclysmic and set the stage for an increase of global deadly and devastating violence.
​
Since then, many of us have felt a real urgency to gather and mobilise the Leaders and the Church for strategic and effective prayer to protect all who live in, work or visit our city and region.

GOING FORWARD

Please help us to spread the word to Leaders you know, many have felt isolated and recognise that we can do much more together. Our Churches, Communities and Nation desperately needs to see a loving empowered Church that knows how to pray to provide protection and transformation.
We have just heard some incredible news which is a real sign of the increasing transformation we have been praying for. “Decades after the Mersey was declared ‘biologically dead’ from industrial and sewage pollution; the river is now teeming with life. Last year, 45 different species of fish were caught by anglers and the river was labelled ‘the best environmental news story in Europe.’”
We believe God’s word in Ephesians 3:20-21 that “He wants to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus.”

We are establishing a Prayer Cabinet as Leaders from across the region bring their gifts and expertise in prayer together. This will enable Leaders and Churches to tap into strategic and effective prayer which will provide not only protection for our region but also create a spiritual atmosphere for a fresh move of God. In the coming weeks we are hoping to make this available.

The CWM Team are very experienced at providing prayer and prophecy training with lots of amazing testimonies of the great things God has done. We have seen many people recognising how God speaks to them and empower them to know how to steward that well.
